Our Management and Staff are here to answer questions for you. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact any of us - anytime.

We understand that pets are beloved members of your family, and we’re happy to welcome them to Elgin Lodge. However, we do expect that you will look after your pet.

At Elgin Lodge all our residents get a Call Button that links to our Wellness staff to ensure our residents have a 24-hour Emergency Response System.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your car. Our parking lot is available for licensed drivers who have their own vehicles. These spaces are subject to availability. (They are not reserved!)

To protect your privacy and to ensure security, we do not display a directory at the front door nor will staff give out your suite or phone number. 

Yes. There are laundry facilities available in the building for your personal use. You may also choose to have our staff do your laundry on a weekly basis for a small fee, giving you more time to enjoy the things you would like to do.

You may come and go as you please. For fire and safety purposes, we ask that you sign out when leaving and sign in once you return. The logbook is located at the Front Desk.

At Elgin Lodge, we welcome your guests and want you to feel comfortable inviting them to visit you since this is your home. Visitors are welcome at anytime. Our dedicated staff are available day and night to allow your loved ones access to visit while protecting your privacy.

Family and friends are welcome to join you for a meal at anytime. We ask that you notify the Front Desk so that they may ensure that a table is set up for your company. Payment may be arranged through our Front Desk.

If you have adequate extra space in your suite, you are welcome to have a short-term guest stay for a limited amount of time. For fire and safety purposes we ask that you notify us of the arrival and departure dates of your guest.

At Elgin Lodge, all of our residents will sign a residential tenancy agreement.

At Elgin Lodge, your suite is your home and you can secure your suite to ensure your continued privacy. The  staff and Management are available to assist you at all times.

At Elgin Lodge, you can select the activities you enjoy the most from the monthly calendar. Our activity director is available to organize outings, shopping excursions, card games, bingo, special parties and events, and many other areas of interest.

At Elgin Lodge, we offer well-trained, caring and devoted healthcare professionals who are available to assist you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, each resident has an emergency call button.

At Elgin Lodge, our relationship with you, your physician and your family is of the utmost importance. If your physician recommends hospitalization, your suite will be waiting for you when your health improves and you return to us. Should specialized care be required, additional care can be arranged or we will assist in any transition that may be required.

At Elgin Lodge, your basic monthly fee provides for your rental accommodation and the service package of your choice. If additional services are required, they can be purchased as required.

At Elgin Lodge, we will provide all the information and advice on the various options available to you during a confidential interview, arranged at your convenience. We recognize that moving is stressful, and we will be there to assist you in arranging the details of your move during your transition.
